MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Quality Control testing of manufactured and incoming materials.
  • Supporting batch release testing.
  • Responsible for ensuring QMS requirements are delivered within the production environment.
  • Supporting the EMS system through implementation of procedures and supporting documentation.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the BS EN 9100, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN ISO 45001 are complied with in all areas of responsibility.
  • Undertake Quality Control testing of manufactured products.
  • Undertake incoming materials inspection.
  • Maintain QC databases and records to ensure full part traceability.
  • Maintain KPI’s periodically for areas of responsibility and ensure targets are met.
  • Assist with the generation and maintenance of internal documentation and generating new test methods/programmes.
  • Support root cause analysis and preventive/corrective actions for NCRs.
  • To ensure that work areas & equipment are maintained in an appropriate manner.
  • Provide cover within the Quality Department during absence/holidays.
  • To carry out additional or other duties / responsibilities upon request.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High level of attention to detail.
  • To have worked within an inspection environment.
  • Experience of Composites and Test Equipment would be advantageous.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong time management, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
