Improve Your Game - Orthogolfer Elite®

This project was completed under the company name TenCate Performance Composites, prior to our acquisition by Toray Industries and name change to Toray Performance Materials Corporation in 2019.

OrthoGolfer Elite® is the first over-the-counter golf “orthotic" specifically designed to aid players in correcting their stance and perfecting their golf swings: Allowing golfers to swing smoother, drive further, and reduce slices.

TenCate CFRT® XTS materials were selected by Orthogolfer to achieve a light weight, ultra-thin profile whilst providing improved energy return and impact resistance to the golfer.

TenCate’s XTS is a continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRT®) composite laminate. It blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer alloy with uni-directional glass fibers for enhanced performance. The XTS style laminate is offered in multilayer constructions and orientations.

XTS is lightest weight and the material is both re-formable and recyclable. It blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer alloy with uni-directional glass fibers for enhanced performance.
