TenCate to exhibit extended thermoset capability at inaugral Experience Composites event

This press release was issued as TenCate Advanced Composites, prior to our acquisition by Toray Industries and name change to Toray Advanced Composites in 2019.

TenCate Advanced Composites will be exhibiting at the inaugural Experience Composites event in Augsburg (21-23 September), stand H3/542. In this launch year, TenCate will be discussing their enhanced European offering of thermoset UD tapes and prepregs to the aerospace, high performance automotive and medical markets.

Alongside their market leading TenCate Cetex® thermoplastics and heritage AmberTool® tooling prepreg series, the expansion in thermoset capabilities and capacity within Europe looks to serve the EMEA region with established, proven thermoset systems from their European Centre of Excellence in Langley Mill.

Latest product developments include the recently launched TenCate AmberTool® HXR series, a multi-axial format which significantly reduces layup time whilst maintaining the easy handling of single ply tooling prepregs. This solution has been specifically designed for where complexity and speed are required and ultimately reducing the overall tooling costs.
