Toray Returns to CAMX in Atlanta this Autumn

Morgan Hill, Calif., USA (Aug 11, 2026) — The Toray Group, continues its global leadership of innovation technologies in high-performance composite materials with our strong exhibit and technical presentations in CAMX 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia, from this September 21^st to 24^th. 

At booth AA9, Toray will highlight its TORAYCA^™ carbon fiber, thermoset prepreg materials, Toray Cetex^®, and CFRT^® thermoplastic composite materials used in the aerospace and defense, automotive, sports and recreation and industrial markets.

 Demonstrations include:

• Samples of our new 3960 high performance toughened epoxy prepreg formats, namely the +/-45° braided format and the fast cure variant, which are engineered to improve manufacturing efficiency and increase production rates.
• Specimens of Toray’s thermoset 3960, TC380, and Toray Cetex^® TC1225 thermoplastic materials, statistically validated through NIAR’s public allowable databases, NCAMP and CMH-17, supporting design, analysis, and qualification activities that accelerate program timelines across a range of industries.
• An engine vane made with Toray Cetex^®  TC1200 (PEEK) thermoplastic composite materials that features the ability to cut engine part weight by up to 60% and improve fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and enhanced engine performance.
• A complex demonstrator for processing thermoplastics, cyanate esters, epoxy and fiberglass solutions for next-generation space and defense applications.
• An aircraft stow bin stamped form with Toray’s new Cetex^® TC1130 PESU thermoplastic material, which exhibits outstanding Fire, Smoke, and Toxicity performance.
• A Franklin Sports C45° Pro Carbon Pickleball Paddle engineered for elite performance with premium TORAYCA^™T700 carbon fiber with advanced carbon layup for exceptional consistency in energy return and spin.
• A sample of the bio-based EcoTerra^™  composite material for consumer products.
• A sample of Stratex™ 2300r, a patent-pending unidirectional carbon-fiber composite comprised of post-consumer recycled content.

In addition to the exhibition, Toray technical experts are set to present on three key technical sessions and conference panels this year. Zach Peck, Field Expert Service Engineer will present on Rapid Manufacture of Thermoplastic Sandwich Panels on Wednesday, September 23^rd at 9:30 am local time. Riley Harden, Thermoset R&PD Engineer is also slated to present on Wednesday, September 23^rd with Assessing the Viability of VBO-Cured Halogen-Free Flame-Retardant Epoxy Composite for Use in Aircraft Compartment Interiors at 10:30 am local time. Our final Toray technical expert speaker for CAMX is Tung-Ping Wang, Senior R&D Engineer, who will present on Building Affordable Circular Continuous Fiber Reinforced Composites Through Recycled and Bio-based Materials on Wednesday, September 23^rd at 1:30 pm.
