Giving Back to Communities

Food Bank Donations

30 November 2020

This year has taught all of us the importance of community and how much we depend on each other. 2020 has been a year of change and uncertainty, but one thing holds true—together, we can go further, and one of the real joys this holiday season is the opportunity to spread holiday cheer by giving back to local communities. It has truly been inspiring to see how communities have stepped up to help each other through these difficult and uncertain times.

Food insecurity across countries has risen significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic sidelined millions of workers all over the world. With so many families struggling to access food and depending on the services of local food banks and pantries, we thought that the best way to support our communities is to donate to local organizations that fight hunger.

We have made donations to food banks that are located within our production site communities:

  • FOOD BANK OF CONTRA COSTA AND SOLANO COUNTIES (USA)
  • SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF SILICON VALLEY (USA)
  • FOOD SHARE OF VENTURA COUNTY (USA)
  • ST. ANDREW'S FOOD BANK OF LANGLEY MILL (UK)
  • FOOD BANK HELLENDOORN (NL)

We wish our partners and our neighbors a warm, safe, happy, and healthy holiday season.
