Product description

Toray Cetex® TL-6000 is a Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic (CFRT®) composite laminate with carbon fiber and modified polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) resin, designed for orthosis.

TL-6000 blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer matrix with woven carbon fibers in multi-layers, for enhanced performance and resiliency. It is designed for orthosis; knee and ankle bracing applications.

Toray Cetex® TL-6000 product range comprises of 2 layer (2L, MOD1), 3 layer (3L) or 4 layer (4L), all ultra-thin and light weight. TL-6000 laminates have a smooth high gloss finish and transparent surface to show woven carbon fiber. Additionally, the laminate can be drilled, ground, and polished and adjusted after forming with a heated gun.

This product was formerly PMC / Baycomp CFRT® TL-6000 and Toray Cetex®TC951.
