Program Manager: the role
As the accountable Program Manager, you will lead the program management activities, reporting to the Commercial Aerospace Director. Your assignment will include close cooperation with our customers, with Toray group and with our suppliers. You will monitor program performance closely and will work on improving the accuracy of our forecast.
You will also have a scoped Marketing and Sales Responsibility.
Job Description
Program Management
• Program Execution:
o You are the lead for the program executions. You will follow closely and coordinate all program related activities and ensure on time and on quality deliveries.
o Work closely with all key players internally and externally, with our customers and suppliers.
• Forecast:
o You will further develop our demand forecast tool for accurate forecasts.
o You will make sure our forecasted demand is shared regularly with our internal and external suppliers.
• Compliance: you will monitor our obligations and manage compliance when it comes to de-risking, sustainability, quality and safety.
• Manage production disruptions in cooperation with your colleagues and our customers.
Marketing & Sales
• As part of your marketing activities, you will maintain a comprehensive value proposition for Toray and Toray Advanced Composites.
• In addition, you will centralise and maintain an accurate competitive landscape.
• Sustainability is key for Toray. You will look to assist articulating a comprehensive sustainability message.
• Although this will not be your prime responsibility, you will occasionally assist the Account Manager(s) with RFI/RFP activity coordination.
Your Profile
• At least a bachelor's degree in marketing, sales and/or business administration.
• You have experience in aerospace and as a plus, in composites.
• You have a strong degree of autonomy and can work with colleagues spread across different sites.
• Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel have no secret to you.
• You are fluent in English. Speaking, French, Dutch, German or Spanish would be a plus.
• Working experience in a Japanese environment would be a plus too.
• You hold an European Passport.
• Some travel will be required.
• You are comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
