The Global Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that the global quality standards are established and met and aligned with ISO-9001 2015 principles, quality system/documentation/certificates are maintained and completes tests for mechanical properties; the production of goods with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.  Ensuring that all products are delivered to the customers that meets specifications and quality requirements.

The role will be responsible for the effective and successful management of, quality control and environmental, health, and safety measures as established by the company. Quality Control liaison within corporate segment, organizing and ensuring ISO and other quality initiatives and communication. Serves as a company representative on regulatory issues. Enhancement of systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and seeking opportunities to expand systems.


  • Best Practices- Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct analysis of QA by compiling data and interpreting results; routine checks (fiber content, weight and mechanical properties) and improve product quality if necessary thru; surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; investigating process stability studies; establishing corrective actions and re-validations.
  • Create documentation for panel production, tape specifications, spool summaries, MSDS and new part numbers by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Responsible for external and internal certifications, Quality Manual as well as lead ISO audits and re-certifications.
  • Analyzing trends, in product quality and performance over time based on quantitative results
  • Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression and learning. 
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures
  • Works with General Manager on all matters related to Quality
  • Manage information relative to KPI’s in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Quarterly travel to global sites (Asia) is required. Regular visits to local sites.    


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields is required
  • Certified quality auditor a plus.
  • Lean, Six Sigma certifications a plus.


  • Must be a team player. Be Forthright, Receptive, Approachable.
  • Big-picture thinker with the ability to successfully implement change
  • Minimum 5-10 years of successful progression.
  • Minimum 5-years of experience in quality control management (thermoplastic composites preferred).
  • Experience required with ISO 9001, 9100 (Aerospace) or 16949 (Automotive).
  • Excellent communication skills and business acumen to work in close collaboration with the General Manager, in addition to the management group, employees and external partners including customers, suppliers and others within and outside of the industry.
  • Project management expertise with focus on objectives, schedule and budget.
  • Experience in thermoplastics (composites or compounded resins) a plus.
  • Proficient with use of spreadsheets, database applications, project and presentation software, and other related software.
  • Primary language is English. Ability to speak in Mandarin a plus.
  • Ability to effectively present information to management, customers, employees, and the general public.


The duties of this position are performed in office, laboratory and production settings.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work “hands on” with engineers, technicians and operators.  Physical activities will include walking and standing, lifting and use of hands.
