Toray Advanced Composites (TAC) is a leading supplier of advanced composite materials for the aerospace, sporting goods, motor sport and industrial markets. You will find our thermoset composite products on nearly every satellite, space launch vehicle, unmanned aircraft, military and commercial aircraft in production today. TAC also provides composites materials to industrial and recreational applications including mountain bikes, medical prosthetics and sports equipment.

Our thermoplastic prepregs, known in the industry as Cetex®, are found in a wide range of commercial and military aircraft, including large wing structures and interior applications like seats and galleys.  Our Cetex products are available in unidirectional tape or fabric form in a variety of engineered thermoplastic resins including PEEK, PPS, PEI as well as a full line of performance thermoplastics including Nylon, PET, PC/ABS, HDPE, and PP.


The Production Technician is responsible for operating precision production machinery used in the mixing and prepregging of advanced composite materials. The technician will join a growing operations team


  • Close adherence to procedures and instructions for set-up, run, and changeover operations
  • Product integrity such as in-process quality checks, labeling, and packaging
  • Preparation (wrapping and labeling) of the product for processing, loading and unloading product from the equipment
  • Makes measurements of the finished product
  • Maintains records of materials used in manufacturing process
  • Maintain a clean working environment and follow ALL safety policies
  • Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies Lead/Supervisor and/or troubleshoots in order to achieve optimum production levels
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor or designee


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Aerospace experience is a plus


  • Willingness to learn to set-up and operate specialized processing equipment
  • Basic math skills required; ability to convert U.S. standard & metric units
  • Must be able to read and understand written instructions for machine and production operations
  • Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbally) in English
  • Able to use basic mechanical and/or alignment tooling (i.e. wrenches, screw drivers, leveler, rulers, etc.)
  • Excellent attendance; ability to work overtime, weekends and off shifts when needed
  • Able to work and communicate as a team
  • Maintain work areas in a neat, orderly and safe manner
  • Must be capable of lifting to 55 lbs.
