SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
The QA Lab Technician is responsible for physical, mechanical, and chemical testing of prepreg material.

MAJOR DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Complete all tests required for each product
• Document results, analyze data and data entry via Excel
• Knowledge of measurement conversions and weights in metric and standards
• Operate, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment
• Communicate with Leads and QA manager/supervisor
• Conduct retesting of product as needed to support quality investigations
• Monitor use and inventories of laboratory chemicals and supplies
• Adhere to safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
• Maintain good housekeeping to ensure laboratory and plant cleanliness

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum: high school diploma, or some college experience in math, physical chemistry, mechanical engineering, composites, or material science.
• Basic understanding of algebra, geometry, units and conversions.
• Strong analytical, mechanical and/or technical skills
• Strong understanding of measurements scales, calipers and measuring tools
